Last Wednesday, construction crews placed the final steel beam on top of the new Baptist Memorial Hospital-Crittenden. This wasn’t just any beam. This beam bore the signatures of more than 250 Crittenden County residents who wanted to be part of their new hospital.
We held a special ceremony to commemorate the placement of the final beam, and a number of people braved frigid temperatures to watch the milestone happen. They were so excited to see the beam rise to the top of the hospital. It’s clear this community is excited to welcome us to Crittenden County.
As eager as I am to open Baptist Crittenden, I’m equally thankful that we can provide great care in 21 other hospitals, numerous Baptist Medical Group clinics and other health care facilities. I’m particularly reminded of this now, as our communities face an especially tough flu season.
As more patients come to our hospitals and physician offices seeking care, many of our facilities are busier than usual. Thank you for continuing to provide high-quality, compassionate care as demand for our services increases. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate all you give to our patients.
