‘Connect’ing with our doctors

New software strengthens collaboration with our physicians

On Dec. 6, we introduced Baptist OneCare Connect. This tool gives our non-employed physician partners access to many Baptist OneCare programs, including MyChart and Epicare Ambulatory, our electronic health record (EHR). And it has the power to do much more than that.

BOC Connect more closely aligns us with our independent physicians. Now, a single medical record can follow patients beyond Baptist care settings. Non-employed doctors can review that record and get a fuller picture of their patients’ health.

It also gives independent physicians the country’s premier EHR at a more affordable price. Many self-employed doctors are under tremendous economic pressure. Our EHR can potentially improve their clinical and financial performance.

BOC Connect may convince more physicians to partner with us. We’re introducing it to doctors throughout our service area in the hopes that they will take advantage of this great opportunity. Doctors from the Memphis area all the way to Jackson, Mississippi, have already expressed interest in BOC Connect.

Anyone who works with our physicians knows how important they are to Baptist’s success. We would not be where we are today without partnerships with some of America’s true medical pioneers. We must continue to develop these relationships so our patients and communities can benefit from the top-notch care they deliver.
