A hospital for the ages

On Wednesday, we hosted an unveiling event to introduce the new Baptist North Mississippi hospital to the community. About 500 people came to see our newest facility; it truly was a special event.

The new hospital is stunning. It stands five stories tall and is the size of Disneyland. Patients will benefit from its larger emergency department, comfortable patient rooms and other amenities. And, most importantly, we will continue to deliver exceptional, empathetic care.

I felt a strong sense of pride from everyone who attended the unveiling. The new hospital is the embodiment of our nearly three-decade commitment to the Lafayette County community. For generations to come, North Mississippians will entrust their health care to us through this new facility. It will help sustain the area’s physical, economic and spiritual health. We are so blessed to be able to bring such an important asset to the Mid-South.

We’ll have more photos and information about the new hospital in next week’s Leader. In the meantime, please email me, tweet me @jason_m_little or find me on LinkedIn if you have any thoughts or questions.
