Placing grief in public view

Is it a film about life or death?

The recently premiered Memphis documentary “Good Grief” opened to overwhelming success. Large crowds attended the Memphis and Collierville showings with the encore showing sold out.

Directors Melissa Sweazy and Laura Jean Hocking and Director of Photography Sarah Fleming showed grief and the Kemmons Wilson Family Center for Good Grief’s work through the eyes of one family. Following the premier, the film won two awards, including Best Hometowner Feature and the People’s Choice for Poster.
