The 2017 Camp Day2Day registration deadline is fast approaching on May 19. With limited space and only a week left to register, interested campers can still book a spot for the free, one-week camp.
Designed specifically for children with type 1 and 2 diabetes or who have been diagnosed as pre-diabetic, the camp offers additional support, fun and education for children. During the five days, kids participate in camp activities like swimming and fitness with the added benefit of counseling, nutrition guidance and general coping strategies for diabetics.
Baptist’s partnership with the American Diabetes Association helps CampDay2Day become a reality. Both organizations also seek volunteers for the camp.
To register for camp, visit diabetes.org/adacampday2day or contact Melissa Wilson at 901-682-8232, ext. 3339, or mwilson@diabetes.org.
