June 1 kicks off 2017 Above and Beyond campaign

June 1 marks the start of the summer giving season, and it’s time to consider where your heart lives. Every year, Baptist team members make a real difference by committing real dollars to a Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation fund. Absolutely 100 percent of each donation goes to the chosen fund. Remember, donating PTO is also an option. See what a difference we made in 2016!

Kemmons Wilson Family Center for Good Grief

3,733 grief sessions were provided at the Collierville center. Opening two new centers in Jonesboro, Arkansas and Midtown Memphis.

Camp Good Grief

40 children attended day camp and 22 teens attended weekend camp.

Baptist Reynolds Hospice House

257 patients served

Employee Emergency Assistance Fund

169 team members received a total of  $84,387.75 through the Employee Emergency Assistance Fund.

Patient Assistance Fund

251 patients received a total of $40,761.41 through the Patient Assistance Fund.

Baptist College of Health Sciences

166 scholarships awarded during the academic year

Friends of Nursing Fund

The fund allowed 60 nurses to attend conferences and earn certifications.

Baptist Heart Institute

Provided local hotel accommodations for five out-of-town heart transplant and mechanical pump recipients, bridging the gap from hospital to home.

Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Baptist team members gave more than $520,000 during the PICU giving campaign.
