HealthNet names Elizabeth Sharpe new CEO

HealthNet Federal Credit Union recently named Elizabeth Sharpe as president and chief executive officer. She has been with HealthNet since 2012.

Elizabeth previously served as HealthNet’s vice president overseeing the administration of branches, marketing, and accounting. During her career, she has maintained leadership roles with the Internal Revenue Service, Triumph Bank, Wachovia Bank, Neshoba Bank and Union Planters Bank.

She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a double major in banking and managerial finance from the University of Mississippi, and then attended the Mid-South School of Banking.  She has served on the Main Street Collierville Board, Memphis chapter of Tennessee Credit Union League Board, and completed the FBI Citizens Academy. Elizabeth has two daughters in college, one aspiring to be a nurse anesthetist and the second to be a large animal veterinarian.
